A View from the Choir We are a compassionate church, endeavoring to create opportunity for personal
and spiritual growth through worship, instruction, fellowship, evangelism, and
intercessory prayer, leading to intimacy with God.
Value Statement
- Every person has the right to a presentation of the gospel at his or her level of understanding
- Every person needs a biblical, moral compass to guide and protect him or her throughout life
- Every believer has unique gifts to be discovered, developed, and used to strengthen the church
- Every believer has a purpose in advancing the global mission of the church of Jesus Christ
Mission Statement
We are a church of compassion...- We care about Christians and pre-Christians
- We bear the burdens of others
- We share to meet community and heart needs
- We declare a message of life and hope
- We dare to be innovative and go outside the lines and walls
- We will nurture people through four developmental levels:
1. We will include them (winning them to Christ and seeing them committed to membership)
2. We will instruct them (seeing them committed to maturity)
3. We will involve them (in ministry fitted to their gifts)
4. We will invest them (commissioning and sending them out with a mission)
